A group of students from Scoil Mhuire Clane were presented with the winners trophy at the Student Enterprise Awards County Final held in the Osprey Hotel Naas on the 25th March 2010. 18 mini-companies from 15 second level schools throughout Kildare battled it out for the prestigious award of Kildare Mini-Company of the Year 2010.

KFM Radio's Mr. Clem Ryan presented the award to the winning company "Planet Saverz". Planet Saverz, an educational DVD board game, was set up by Katie Meldrum, Danielle Dullahan, Donal Keogh, Megan Maguire, Mia Donnelly & Kelsey Cribbin, who are all transition year students in Scoil Mhuire, Clane.

Planet Saverz went on to represent Kildare in the National Finals of the Student Enterprise Awards on the 27th April in Croke Park at which they were awarded second place in the overall competition
