Student Enterprise Awards

The Student Enterprise Awards is an exciting and rewarding programme that gives second level students in Ireland the chance to set up and run their own business while at school.

Organised by the County & City Enterprise Boards, the programme is run in schools all over Ireland. Over 10,500 students all over the country take part every year.

The objectives of the programme are:

• to give students practical, real life experience of setting up and running their own business
• to encourage students to think about entrepreneurship and self-employment as a viable career choice
  
• to enhance the teaching of business and entrepreneurship in schools by combining classroom learning with real life experience
  

Participation in the programme will encourage students to consider becoming entrepreneurs in the future and they will be much better prepared by their experience.
